PERSONAL TRAINING

ALEX BARWELL

Health and fitness for me is something that should be a part of everyones life. The feeling of being fit and strong is like no other which is why i've dedicated my life to helping others achieve it. 10 years of mastering my craft through countless hours of training my mind and body has brought me to this point.

Im here to offer a diverse range of training methods to help you achieve whatever goal you have, I will push when needed and be with you every step of the way. I've worked with many clients across the board and understand people respond to different training styles and will use this knowledge and experience to tailor your sessions specifically for you.

Your mindset will change massively, you'll be able to see yourself doing things you'd never see yourself do before.

We have a facility with the best equipment and atmosphere possible to maximise your training experience, I want to create a safe and comfortable environment for everyone. My ethos is helping girls and women to feel confident in the gym, utilising my experience in weight training to help them build strength and muscle whilst feeling great doing so.

All my clients now understand the benefits of strength training and the nutrition behind building strong lean muscle.

The gym is always progressing, as is my knowledge and experience and I strive to bring the best version of myself and my team for everyone. Don't miss out on being a part of something special.

GEORGIA HYNES

I got into training when I was 16, I was overtraining and under eating. I had no guidance and got into a bad cycle of trying to be the smallest version of me instead of the strongest / healthiest. 6 years later, my focus has switched completely; to fuelling my body and trying to be the healthiest version of myself.

I want to help girls that have no idea where to start or how to start, and give them all the information needed for them to have a healthy relationship with food and training. I want girls to feel confident in the gym and walk in with the knowledge needed to do a session and give it all they have.

I’ve been through the whole process of being nervous, under eating, overeating, failing to balance my social life with my training. So I want to pass on what I’ve learnt to other girls, and help find something that works for them as an individual. I really want to focus on getting girls to a place where they are happy and confident with themselves and enjoy the process of getting there.

Things such as the menstrual cycle, disordered eating and pcos aren’t really spoken about much in the fitness world and this is something I want to change. No matter what women are going through I want to be there with the most knowledge possible to help them every step of the way.

Training is something I love and the gym is somewhere you should go to feel good and enjoy yourself. Not somewhere to be scared of or feel uncomfortable in.

SUZIE REYNOLDS

I hired my first PT 7 years ago when I signed up to do Tough Mudder and I didn’t want to be the “weak one” to hold the team back. Before then I had never done any proper strength training and didn’t understand or know the value it could bring to my life, health and physique.

Now I love how lifting, running and training makes me feel and look; as well as knowing that it is adding a great value to my life.

As your coach my goal is to help you reach beyond just fat loss and physique, but help bring value to other aspects of your health too. We only get one body and once you pass 25 you suddenly realise it needs a little more work and care!

Since qualifying as a Personal Trainer I have continued to undertake further education around various aspects of coaching, physiology and nutrition so I can deliver the best results possible with my clients.

My aim is to help you build long-term habits that go beyond your training sessions. I look at your coaching with an all-round approach to improve and maximise your sleep quality, stress management, understand exercise selection, nutrition and daily habits which you can continue for years to come and not just as a short-term solution.

My expertise is working with male and female clients to lose body fat, build muscle and strength and improve their quality of movement and life. I help encourage you and to find movement that not only helps you but that you enjoy too!

We hope anyone who steps foot in the gym has the best experience possible.

AARON WILMAN

My name is Aaron (Air-ron), I started training when I was 18 but I didn’t have a clue what I was doing, lifting weights with no purpose and no understanding of the functionality of muscles. Fast-forward 15 years; I had an 8-year career as a Royal Marines Commando, played rugby for Taunton Titans, Macclesfield RUFC and the Royal Navy, making two appearances in the annual Army vs Navy match at a sold-out Twickenham stadium (82,000).

During those 15 years, I learned a lot about myself and my body, competing in Rugby, Powerlifting, Strongman, Fell running, Crossfit and Hyrox to name a few. Your body is more resilient than you know, you can push much harder than you thought, I want to help you get over the fear of doing so.

I have battled my fair share of injuries over the years, with playing a high-level contact sport, injuries are almost guaranteed. An injury can throw your life into complete disarray, not knowing how long it will take to repair and what the best process is to help the injury recover. I completed my Level 3 in Sports Massage to assist in overcoming injuries and get you back living your life pain-free.

As your coach, I will give you a different approach to movement, we will put resistance on muscles that require more strength, we will mobilise joints that require more flexibility, all to help you become the most efficient and able version of yourself.

Peak Power Gym is a place you should enjoy, you’re not coming to punish yourself!!!
